Voice Class for Adults 18+Mondays, 7:45 - 8:45pmFebruary 24 - May 12, 2025 (10 weeks)Skip: Apr 14 & Apr 28
Whether you perform as a soloist or in a choral ensemble, or simply love singing, this course will help you improve your singing voice. This is designed to be a fun, innovative voice class tailored to fit each student's individual needs. This course will help students gain knowledge of their voice, while developing artistry and stage presence. From choral music, classical, musical theatre, and pop, students will use ensemble and solo music to explore harmony, vocal technique, and how they can use their voice to tell a story. Students will explore proper breathing techniques for breath support, vocal control, music reading, and learn basics in vocal pedagogy through class participation and observation in class that will work similarly to a Master Class setting. The class will culminate with a final in-class performance of songs learned in the course.
This class can be taken multiple times, with new songs and ideas introduced each semester!
