This is a beginner dog training class and is designed for the young and not so young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an Orientation and Information night held on Monday, Sept. 8 at the Fairfield Community Center for the two-legged family member/s only. (Please, only one human registration per dog, however 2 humans may attend with one dog.) You will get a helpful manual and many issues will be discussed including the commands taught such as walking on a loose leash, stay and come exercises and other techniques. On the first night, we will also discuss your behavior concerns. The four subsequent evenings with the dogs will also be held at the Fairfield Community Center from 6:00-7:00 p.m. All dogs will need to be on a leash at all times, and NO dogs will be allowed if they are aggressive. When you register online, the Adult Ed Secretary will send you a packet that you need to print, read, sign, and bring it to class with you. Please bring proof of vaccinations, $150 material fee payable to the instructor (cash or check, NO CREDIT CARDS please), and your completed packet to orientation night.
