Description
The Great Literary TourHartford, CT & Springfield, MADid you know that Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe were neighbors when they lived in Hartford and that the author Dr. Seuss, Theodor Seuss Geisel, grew up a short distance away in MA? Join us as we enjoy learning about some of New England’s literary greats. We will tour the Twain house and hear about its history, spend the night in Springfield, MA and then enjoy the morning wandering around the grounds of the Springfield Museums where you can visit the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss, George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum and D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts. Breakfast included, all other meals are on your own and all discounts are included in the fee. Trip is co-sponsored with Gorham Recreation. Please list roommate at time of registration.Age and Gender
