About this event
Description
Grow and strengthen the Farmington YMCA family and community. As part of the Farmington YMCA Volunteer Group, you will help provide a positive and welcoming experience for all. You will assist with the general upkeep of equipment and spaces and assist with program project or events as needed.Projects will be designated by the Youth and Family Director. Volunteer shifts are flexible and will change for each project.
*The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our programs. We hold all volunteers regardless of service project, to the highest possible standards. We require volunteers that are working with youth to be screened regularly and sign a code of conduct. All volunteers will be monitored when interacting with program participants. We rake any inappropriate interactions between program participants and with volunteers very seriously and will fully cooperate with authorities in any case of abuse.
