Topics Covered
You will be introduced to some basic drawing vocabulary, history, and tools to begin to see like an artist. Weekly exercises and prompts will be presented to touch on topics such as composition, scale, proportion, perspective, and balance. You will have the opportunity to experiment with graphite pencils as you discover line quality and value. Emphasis will be placed on observational drawing of 3-D forms with black and white drawing materials.
