Description
This traveling basketball league includes teams from other area Recreation Departments including; Verona, Monona, Cottage Grove, Middleton & Waunakee. Home games will be played at Stoner Prairie or Savanna Oaks Schools in Fitchburg. Please note travel will be required to all road games. Practice and game times are TBA.
Teams will practice for approximately 90-minutes on the following Saturdays in November, December & January with the time TBD. (Nov 22, 29, Dec 6, 13 & Jan 3). In addition, each team will practice one weeknight per week starting the week of Dec 8 (M, T, W, R). The day of the weeknight practice is determined by the coach.
Games will be played on Saturdays, beginning January 10 and ending with a tournament on February 28.
Volunteer coaches are needed for each team. Please consider coaching. The ability to run this program depends on parent volunteer coaches. Thanks for the consideration.
Please note that the program is offered as 5th/6th combined, however grades may be separated if enough players are registered.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made after registering and prior to the start date of an activity will have a $5.00 administrative charge deducted from your refund. Refunds or credits will not be issued if you cancel out of an activity less than five working days from the activity start date. No refunds will be given once a class or program has started. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable.
