Wanderlust 108: 9 Reasons You Must-Try the Most Zen Tri, Ever

Written by
Imagine a triathlon without any stress, time restrictions and competition. Wanderlust 108, a one-day mindful triathlon—5K run, meditation and yoga—might be the most Zen race you'll experience, ever. In many Eastern traditions, the number 108 is considered sacred and signifies the interconnection between body, mind and spirit. 1 = unity / 0 = stillness / 8 = infinite possibility Wanderlust 108 explores these concepts—challenging each participant to push their body, calm their mind, and connect with others. The event reflects Wanderlust's core mission: creating community around mindful living. This unique triathlon offered an array of activities to better your mind and body. Wanderlust 108 featured a pre-run meditation class, healthy food, yoga, music and more. Here's what we learned and experienced at this mindful triathlon.
