Quenching the Wild: The Role of Wildlife Drinkers in Conservation
This special program is being offered as part of the Flagstaff Festival of Science.
The Flagstaff Festival of Science provides a collection of free science focused educational events during ’the best 10 days of the year’. We are fortunate to provide this educational tour as part of this year's festival.
Come spend the morning with our park naturalist Geoffrey, who will show you the exciting new wildlife drinker at the Fort Tuthill County Park. Geoffrey will tell you about the project, its impact to local wildlife, and show you pictures and evidence of animals that have visited the site.
We will meet at the Trifecta building at Fort Tuthill for a presentation and then take a short hike to the Wildlife Drinker.
*Please bring Close toed shoes and plenty of water!
*Program reminders with directional information will be sent to participants in the week leading up to this event.
