Want to learn how to cut and polish rocks? Come on you know you want to. You have wanted to do this since you were a kid. Well, here is your opportunity to give it a try. Join us at CERA for a Basic Lapidary class. It’s a basic course designed for beginners or those who have not done this for a while and would like a refresher. You will be introduced to trim saws, Covington combination grinder, sander and polishing machines. The best part is you don’t have to buy any tools or rocks unless you want to! We will supply you with everything you will need to cut 2 cabochons in this class.

This class is required for members to gain the right to use the lapidary equipment. In the first class, come prepared to take some notes before we dive into using the machines and cutting some fabulous rocks. Please bring some safety glasses, if you have them. We look forward to seeing you.
And remember a lady or a gentleman never discusses the size of their rock collection.
