Description
Join a Williamson County Park Ranger for a guided, interpretive paddle down the scenic and historic Harpeth River. Along the way, we will discuss the various native flora and fauna one can find on our county's riverbanks as well as the waterway's important role in the history of Franklin, and Williamson County in general.Program will meet at Franklin Rec Center's canoe launch. Participants will then be shuttled to Pinkerton Park where we will paddle back to the Rec Center and our vehicles. This will be approximately 3.5 river miles.
*Please Note* All participants must be able to provide their own canoe or kayak, paddle and lifejacket. All minors participating in the program MUST be accompanied by an adult.
