The Digital Photography curriculum explores the art form of photography by exploring light, color, composition, creativity, and more. Students will master skills in camera usage and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop. In addition to learning about camera operation and fundamentals, the students will focus on image editing and post-processing. They will learn basic editing techniques: cropping, adjusting exposure, color correction, and retouching. Layering, masking, and special effects will also be introduced. Finally, they will learn to optimize images for print and web. With these skills in their toolbox, students will be able to proudly show off their work to family and friends!
