3D modeling will show students how to use professional-level software, such as SketchUp, to create simple yet detailed models. Instructors will ensure students develop a fundamental knowledge of the tools and familiarize themselves with the software. Using SketchUp, students will learn how to build structures that apply to real life, such as a floor plan, a room, and a name tag. Additionally, students will be able to make and print simple 3D models, like a Nametag. Making a room and floor plan with materials imported from the 3D warehouse will allow students to develop more architectural knowledge and visualization skills. This course will allow students to apply these concepts to any future work; it is perfect for anyone interested in architecture, graphic arts, and modeling!
