3D modeling will show students how to use professional-level software, such as SketchUp, to create simple yet detailed models. Instructors will ensure students develop a fundamental knowledge of the tools and familiarize themselves with the software. Using SketchUp, students will learn how to build structures that apply to real life, such as a floor plan, a room, and a name tag. Additionally, students will be able to make and print simple 3D models, like a Nametag. Making a room and floor plan with materials imported from the 3D warehouse will allow students to develop more architectural knowledge and visualization skills.
