ON-CAMPUS INDEPENDENT PROJECT LOCATION: Upper School Classroom GRADES: High School DESCRIPTION: You will have the opportunity to develop and implement an independent research project of your choice. This project requires creativity, dedication, and independent research. You will be expected to develop a research topic, conduct a review, create a research plan, collect and analyze data, and present your findings on the last day of Term Project Week. Examples of such projects include: Creating a 3D-printed Model, Researching a Current Health Issue, Investigating the History of a Local Business, Examining the Impact of Technology on Society, Researching a Social Movement, and others. The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Students who choose to participate in this term project must submit a brief proposal to the lead teacher.
