About this event
Advisor: Rangoli Eusebius Email: rangoli.eusebius@basisindependent.com Women in STEM and Girls Who Code are international organizations dedicated to empowering women in the STEM and computer science fields. In our dual WiSTEM/Girls Who Code club, we aim to lead young girls in pursuing their interests in STEM and determining their future careers. We host mentorship events, teach fundamental computer science principles in Python, such as the skills needed to create AI models and perform data analysis, and apply these skills by participating in Girls Who Code’s annual AI challenge. Additionally, we explore hardware engineering via hands-on experiences with Arduino circuits, combining software skills with hardware to create beginner-friendly projects, such as controlling the brightness of an LED light. Our club is open to anyone!
