Description

Join this 8-week class to experience the excitement of live drumming. This is a beginner’s class, but drummers with experience are welcome. We will use the West African hand drum called the Djembe to work on independence, coordination, basic rhythm patterns, and ensemble performance. Drums will be provided, or you are welcome to bring your own. This class is great for coordination, motor, and rhythmic skills. Most of all, it’s a chance to socialize and meet others while sharing the love of music together. Don’t be shy, let’s get drumming!
