Six IN-PERSON sessions September 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22 In preparation for the celebration of America’s 25oth anniversary since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this course will address the lead up to, conduct of, and outcomes from the American Revolution. Learn about the more than a century of uprising and rebellions leading to “the shot heard ‘round the world,” as well as intriguing yet significant details not usually known about the Declaration of Independence. Carter Wood is retired from the US Army, the corporate world, and Gwinnett County Schools Operations Division. He is a 50-year volunteer with Scouting and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Carter has taught several courses since joining BULLI in 2017.
