Description
Bone Builders is a free, volunteer-led exercise program for ages 55+ in partnership with the Montgomery County Departments of Recreation and Health and Human Services, and the RSVP volunteer program. Participants use ankle and hand weights, and participate in warm-up, cool-down and balance exercises. The class relies upon weight training and balance exercises to protect against fractures caused by osteoporosis by increasing muscular strength, balance and bone density.
Due to the location change, weights and other equipment will not be provided. Customers must bring their own equipment when participating in class.
