Discover the art of French cooking with Chef Greg. In this hands-on class, Chef Greg will guide you through the steps to create the classic French dish, Chicken Cordon Bleu, sharing his expert techniques and insider tricks along the way. You’ll learn how to prepare perfectly cooked boneless chicken breasts, stuffed with Jamón de Serrano and Gruyère cheese, and served atop a flavorful rice and couscous pilaf, enhanced with fresh parsley, chives, and aromatic herbs. The dish is completed with a rich Sauce Supreme and veal jus-glazed Shiitake mushrooms, creating a luxurious and mouthwatering meal. At the end of the class, you’ll have the opportunity to sit down with Chef Greg and savor the gourmet meal you’ve prepared. Don’t miss out on this chance to elevate your cooking skills and enjoy the sophisticated flavors of classic French cuisine!This class will be taught by Greg Webb, chef and owner of the new, award-winning Laperaux, The Journeyman chef's French Bistro, located in Germantown. Laperaux, LLC specializes in traditional French dishes using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients in a casual bistro setting.This is an in-person hands-on class. Participants will work with the chef instructor in our professional kitchen to prepare the recipes listed in the class description. Everyone will then get to enjoy these recipes together.Hands-on and in person. Please wear closed toe, non-slip shoes. Customers with long hair should tie their hair up or wear a bandanna (provided by Casey).
