Course Description: This program covers all the Marksmanship Fundamentals, teaching shooters how to recognize, diagnose, and correct their own techniques and habits. When complete, shooters will be able to make their shots, not just noise! Requirements: L1 - Holster Certification - Completion Course Information: Students may use their own approved semi-automatic firearms or rental firearms provided by the range. Electronic ear protection, eye protection and closed toe footwear are required. Given the danger of contact burns from hot brass low cut tops are not recommended to be worn while on the range. Students are required to bring: - a holster, - a gun belt, - a magazine pouch, - 3 magazines, - 200 rounds of ammunition, - eye and ear protection (can be provided), - a notebook and a pen (recommended). All holsters must meet the following criteria: - Constructed of a rigid material, and designed to accommodate the model of firearm being used - Completely cover trigger guard - Have one form of mechanical retention - May not have finger activated releases (ie: SERPA or FOBUS) - Shoulder, cross draw and appendix holsters are NOT permitted.
