This class will focus on better understanding the medium of pastel. Christine will guide the class on her layering techniques to control the medium, no matter what subject matter or how new an artist is to pastels. Students will be provided a gritted surface to explore and to build a painting over the course of the class. Students can work on any subject matter from their own references.
