Expect to engage with centers after demos and time for touching examples. Learn how to work with different applications, surfaces, history, tools, incorporating image transfer, resources, content, composition and preservation. Lumen, photogram, argyrotype and chlorophyll printing will be touched on with opportunity to experiment. Learn to understand the simple chemistry involved with altering and toning on different types of papers, cloth and objects. Learn bleaching, measuring and application processes. Learn to overprint and print with papers that can alter outcomes with good results. Work with paper cutting, negatives, transparencies, large and small format, plants, linens, embroidery, three-dimensional objects, glass, ephemera, the written word, sketches and more.
