Prepare for a rewarding career as a Medical Assistant with this comprehensive training program. Designed to equip students with both academic knowledge and hands-on clinical skills, this course covers human anatomy, medical terminology, clinical procedures, laboratory techniques (including phlebotomy), pharmacology, medication administration, patient care, medical law, and ethics. You’ll gain the expertise needed to support physicians in outpatient and ambulatory care settings, such as medical offices and clinics. This program prepares students to sit for the NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) examination (exam fee approx. $130, not included in tuition). All in-person classes require on-site attendance, and remote participation is determined by the instructor. Regular attendance is essential for successful course completion.
