Middle School Cheer is back for a third season after an incredible 2024 season! Team members learn a variety of sideline cheers, chants, and jumps, then lead the crowds at several 7th-8th grade Haslett Middle School Football games. This club is open to all 6th-8th grade students; no prior experience is necessary, but space is limited!
Coach Rachel Sestak leads practices twice a week until games start, then practices will be held once a week, with games on Wednesday evenings. Coach Rachel Sestak will lead Practices on Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning the second week of August (with more details closer to the start). Once the school year begins, the practices will be right after school on Mondays and Wednesdays until the football season begins, when there will be games on Wednesday evenings and practice on Mondays only. Transportation is not provided for practices or games; it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to get their child to and from them.
Registration Dates: Monday, May 5 - Sunday, May 25Registration is first-come, first-served, and the program may be filled before the deadline.

What is the cost besides coaching/instruction for all practices and games?Use of the following items throughout the season:(you will receive a hard copy of a Uniform release and care sheet when uniforms are distributed)
-Use of team uniform and poms -Use of a cheer bag The following items are included for each athlete to keep:-2 pairs of white no-show socks-2 bows-Undershorts for uniforms-Team t-shirt -Warm-up jacket with name on the back-Water Bottle
What will I need to provide?-White Cheer shoes-Optional additional no-show socks and bows-Parent/guardian volunteers (after completing a district background check), parents are needed for assistance at practices, games, concessions, etc.
