Homeowners can help control local flooding, filter pollutants contributing to downstream water pollution and help recharge groundwater by reducing impervious surface and capturing stormwater on your property. This can be done even if an expansion is planned. Options: rain gardens, bioretention, rain barrels, cisterns, permeable pavements, infiltration trenches.Free, registration required.
