Each week, we’ll explore a new technique—wax resist, reserved space, masking fluid, and artist’s choice—all while creating cozy, festive artwork. You’ll walk away with 4 holiday paintings, full of glow, light, and seasonal cheer. What You’ll Learn Each Week: Week 1 (Nov 13): Peppermint Twist – Wax resist with white crayon Week 2 (Nov 20): Silent Night Tree – Plan and preserve white space for snow Week 3 (Dec 4): Snowflakes in the Sky – Masking fluid & soft backgrounds Week 4 (Dec 11): Ornaments with Sparkle – Artist’s choice of technique! What to Bring: Bring watercolor brushes (#6 round and #2 round), watercolor palette, watercolor paper (140# cold press, 9x12 or 6x9), Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolors (10 tubes), a water container, pencils, kneaded eraser, paper towels, and a white wax crayon and a waterproof ink pen (like a Uni-Ball Signo 207).
