This program is designed as the natural next step for students who participated in the Preschool Math Music Motion classes at Hillsborough—but it’s also fully accessible to new students who may be joining us for the first time. No prior MMM experience is required, and all students will be supported as they explore and build foundational mathematical thinking skills.Tailored specifically for Kindergarten learners, the class is capped at 12 students to maintain a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Our approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, collaborative learning, and hands-on exploration—moving beyond rote memorization and into the "why" behind mathematical thinking.
What sets our program apart is the purposeful integration of music and movement into every lesson, engaging multiple senses to promote deeper retention, joyful learning, and long-term critical thinking skills. Each week, families will receive a summary update outlining the concepts covered, and a comprehensive assessment will be provided at the end of the Fall Session. The curriculum is designed to seamlessly extend into the Winter Session for continued development.
