This live study session invites artists of all levels to explore portrait drawing through observation, expression, and refinement. Unlike a traditional instructional format, this workshop offers a guided creative space. Participants will work independently on two poses from a live model, using charcoal and graphite to render dynamic portraits. The focus is on developing personal technique and observational skills in an atmosphere of encouragement and artistic exchange. Throughout the session, Marisol will circulate to review works-in-progress, offering personalized feedback, suggestions, and technical tips that support each artist’s individual style. The aim is to foster growth, curiosity, and confidence, whether someone is just discovering portraiture or refining their voice.
