Did you know you can use your iPad for more than online shopping and watching TikTok videos? You can also create stunning digital art on it! In this class, you'll be introduced to the tools and features of Procreate and explore such techniques as using brushes and creating layers. Who knows? You might even be inspired to stop shopping and start drawing! If you have been intimidated by creating digital art or using an iPad, this class will equip you with the skills and confidence to do both.

Topics Include

This class focuses on the Procreate software with all of its wonderful tools. Procreate will help you master creating digitally. You will have the opportunity to experiment with a vast variety of digital brushes for both wet and dry media. Painting or drawing styles that can be rendered include watercolor, oil, gouache, charcoal, marker, and so much more. You will also learn to use features such as layers, masking, adjustments, blend modes, filters, and effects. Experience all the tools you need to bring your digital art to life.

Supplies

Please bring a pen and paper to take notes. iPads with Apple Pencils and Procreate will be available for use in the class.

Students are welcome to bring their own iPad and Apple Pencil. To purchase Procreate from the App Store it will cost $12.99.
