Description
Turn up the heat! This class will build upon your glassblowing skills as you work with larger amounts of glass and more advanced forms with an emphasis on teamwork. You will develop an understanding of forming unique shapes and different color applications. You can take this class multiple times to further develop your own style and skills, with previous experience in Hot Glass 1 strongly suggested.
Topics Covered
We will start by focusing on basic spheres, teardrops, and amphoras, and how these different basic shapes are transformed in the more complex objects. We will also go over some basic color application once we have a good grasp on these shapes.

Students must wear cotton shirt, pants, & closed toe shoes. No sandals, shorts, or synthetics.
This studio has high heat temperatures, bottled water is recommended.
Minimum height requirement of 56 inches to be able to see into the furnace.
Must have full vision capabilities, gripping strength with both hands, and adequate hand-eye coordination.
Prior attendance in Hot Glass 1 - Beginning (15-weeks or two 7-weeks) strongly recommended.
