Description
This course is designed for those students who have completed the Basic Woodworking class and are ready to get additional practice and learn new techniques. Of the 4 projects to choose from, each will offer techniques to hone your woodworking skills.
- Hexagon box -- working with veneer, box angles
- Shelf/mantel clock -- lap joints, dadoes
- End table -- mortise & tenon joinery, tapered legs, working with veneer
- Occasional/plant table -- curved parts, circle cutting, lap joints
Each student will choose one of these projects to complete during the 7 week course. Construction plans and materials lists will be provided to each student for the project they have chosen.
Topics Include
Topics for this class will vary and depend on the projects each student chooses to build. They may include wood selection and use of color; assembly choices; customizing and making improvements to published plans.

Closed toe shoes required.
Wood 1 - Beginning or prior wood experience is recommended.
