Description
This class is like the first day of fourth grade when you had a new tray of watercolors: your yellow didn't look brown, your red hadn't turned purple, and your blue and green hadn't changed places! You'll develop your watercolor painting skills while studying composition and color mixing-- all without the kid next to you spilling water on your painting.
Topics Covered
Objectives of this class include an introduction to watercolor vocabulary, layering techniques, color mixing, and finding your style. As an introduction to watercolor tools and techniques, this class will include an exploration of approaches to the medium. Gain confidence in setting up your first paintings and selecting subject matter and colors. Instruction will include lectures, demonstrations, and individual guidance from the instructor.
