Description

Tools are your friends ... as long as you know how to use them! Master your use of hand and power tools and elevate your woodworking! In this advanced class, you will get a review of tools and their proper usage as well as individualized guidance and demonstrations to further your own skills and style.

Topics Include

Topics for this class will vary and depend on the projects each student chooses to build. They may include wood selection and use of color; assembly choices; customizing and making improvements to published plans. We may also cover wood movement including cupping, warping, and other bad behaviors; how to glue and clamp projects; and methods for sanding with grit progression. We’ll cover assembly processes like biscuit and dowel pin joinery.
