REGISTRATION FOR THIS ACTIVITY OPENS AUGUST 22ND, 2025 AT 12:00AM PST. To register for this program, please email outdoorfun@drd.us.com. Each registration will be for one tent that can sleep up to 4 adults.
Thanks to funding from the State of California, we are able to offer some fun two night camping trips to our residents. This program will introduce you to camping, and you don't need any camping equipment to be included in this program because we can provide it for you. This camping trip will focus on teaching participants about camping, the health benefits of the great outdoors and many tools to live a happier life. Limited Transportation available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program will also include a virtual meeting prior to the camping trip to learn about the wellness component and talk camp structure. You will take an online happiness test at the beginning and end of the program to see if you were able to implement what was learned and improve your overall well-being. This program funded by the Outdoor Equity Grants Program, created through AB 209 and administered by California State Parks, Office of Grants and Local Services.
