In this video prestation we will learn about the glass artist, Dale Chihuly. Chihuly is a pioneering American artist with work in the permanent collections of over 200 museums around the world. After earning his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, he established a glass program and co-founded the Pilchuck Glass School. He started and provides strong support of the Hilltop Artists in Residence, a glassblowing program for at-risk youths in Tacoma, Washington. Chihuly has also exhibited glass installations in Jerusalem, Chicago, Venice, and other places around the world, drawing more than 1.5 million visitors. Facilitator: Kate Milster
