The Iowa City New Horizons Band invites the community to their summer concert. The mission of the ICNHB is to provide the opportunity for all persons age 50 and older to learn and make music. In addition to the main band that will perform in concert on July 24, the ICNHB offers entry-level group-music opportunities for members and nonmembers alike. It also facilitates the formation of a number of smaller ensemble groups for interested members. In all of its settings, the atmosphere of the New Horizons Band is one of casual camaraderie combined with a passion for making beautiful music and sharing that music with others.Are you interested in learning more or perhaps joining the band?
