In this unique two-hour tutorial, you'll embark on a field trip designed for hands-on learning and practical knowledge. At Lowe’s lumber department, Maria will break down signage, explain lumber grades, wood types, plywood varieties, and suggest optimal materials for common woodworking projects. Then, we'll head to Wegmans, where cheesemonger Rachel Freier will introduce you to different cheese types, teach how to interpret labels, explain cheese storage and pairing basics, and provide tips for confidently selecting cheeses for any occasion. Students under 18 may attend with parental permission.
