How do we design bridges that hold colossal weight or tall skyscrapers that can withstand wind and earthquakes? This class stimulates students' natural problem-solving abilities through a variety of engineering exercises. The process of navigating a challenge through "trying," "failing," and "rethinking" a design to "success," helps them become critical thinkers.
