Description

Discover the joy of creativity in our Introduction to Mosaics; Mosaic Memories class. This relaxing and engaging course teaches the basics of mosaic design, from selecting materials and colors to placing, gluing and grouting tiles. Participants are encouraged to bring a small trinket or keepsake from a loved one to embed into their mosaic, creating a deeply personal and meaningful piece of art. No prior art experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and willingness to try something new. Create your own beautiful piece of art in a fun, supportive environment that encourages self-expression, social connection, and hands-on learning.
Participants will make 2 small mosaic projects, a coaster and a picture frame. Please note that embedded pieces cannot be removed once set.

For the purpose of contact tracing and emergency response, all participants will be required to sign-up for a free membership. Anyone with any COVID-19-like or flu symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, night sweats, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness, muscle or body aches, headaches, confusion, or loss of sense of taste/smell) must not enter the facility. Anyone who develops COVID-19 within 48 hours after attending a gathering should notify the organizer of the gathering as soon as possible.
