Aviation Day with the Chicago Area 99s J, C, S, A Preferred Partner Chicago Area Chapter of the 99s, Lake in the Hills, IL $20/Girl Scout, $20/Adult Sat, May 17, 2025 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Register by May 1, 2025 Girl Scouts will explore aviation through hands-on workshops, discovering the science and engineering behind flight. They will learn how planes fly, how pilots communicate, and how aircraft are maintained. Participants will meet inspiring women in aviation, sit in real cockpits, and explore unique aircrafts. Weather permitting, a hot air balloon and Blackhawk helicopters may make a special appearance! Lunch will be provided.
