We are excited to offer this unique and low cost 5K event that focuses on recycling and our effort to a better tomorrow. The Save the Planet - Recycle 5K will be held Saturday July 12, 2025 at John Prince Park. What is unique about the Save our planet - Recycle 5K? We will recycle our medals and event shirts, from past events, for this event. We do not want any medals or shirts to go to waste and fill up our landfills. This provides each participants to receive some of the largest and coolest medals dating from 2023 and 2025. Because the event does not purchase new medals and shirts for the event, we pass the savings on to you! The entry fee for the Save the Planet - Recycle 5K is only $25.00 (through June 15, 2025). This will include a personalized race bib, finisher medal of your choice, shirt of your choice, and personalized race completion certificate. We will provide awards to the top 3 overall, Masters, Senior Masters, and top 3 in each age group. Age groups will be as follows:
Men's and Women's: 0-8; 9-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; and 80+
John Prince Park provides a beautiful setting for this 5K. The race will begin at 7:30am. You will choose the shirt of your choice at packet pickup and we promise there are great options. As you cross the finish line, you will get to choose the medal of your choice. What aspect of the medal is most important to you?? Size, Shape, or Color? We will have all options available to you. You will not be disappointed by the options available.
