Great intergenerational project! Students will measure and cut fabric to size, then gather with needle and thread. They will make two flowers to hot glue to a barrette or keychain for their backpack. Fabric choices include cotton, jeans and lace. Buttons will be glued on to embellish. NOTE: Sewing needles and hot glue will be used for this project. Anyone under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
