In this class, you'll discover how to write slice-of-life moments in personal essay format (for pleasure or profit). June 18 - Surrounded by Characters: In this fun, interactive class you'll create character sketches of the "characters" in your life. Designed for beginning fiction writers, this class may also provide “non-writers” with an unusual opportunity to better understand family and friends. Come prepared with a willingness to share. June 19 - Stages of Editing: Appropriate for writers with a work-in-progress, this class will explore the nuts and bolts of developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading. Author Brenda Haas will put the microscope on her own work — or yours, if willing — to explore key editing necessary to elevate your writing.
