Explore abstract painting this fall! Both beginning & experienced artists are guided to achieve their goals in this inspiring open-studio setting. Designed for all-levels, this class is personalized for the absolute beginner, while experienced artists enhance their skills in a shared-studio setting. Color theory, composition, experimental mark-making, and abstract painters are among the broad range of topics explored. Students can bring painting ideas to class and achieve their goals with the guidance of accomplished abstract painter Michael Gutierrez. Acrylic painting and mixed media are encouraged. Experienced artists may use oil paints, if preferred. Supply List: Sketchbook required. Beginners discuss supply list at first class. Experienced students should come with their favorite painting supplies. Enroll in Session 1 now and Session 2 by 9/30 and receive a 10% discount off Session 2 tuition.
