Description
Baltimore faced transitions in the final two decades of the 20th century as parallel declines in industrial output and city population grew. New leadership took the reins and new institutions like a symphony hall, museums, and entertainment venues were built, and a subway system was installed. Gentrification started taking over some neighborhoods and the pollution of the Patapsco River became the subject of community action. Come hear this interesting presentation about Baltimore and how it was developed over time.If class is showing as full online, please call the 50+ center front desk for availability, 410-313-0380.
