Bring your troop to camp and help decorate Camp Palos for the holidays and the upcoming Camp Lights events! Troops must provide their own decorating supplies. Come prepared to decorate a tree or bush that lives at camp or provide your own holiday tree to set up somewhere outside. Limited electric hookups will be available (battery or solar operated lighting is encouraged but not required if you would like to include lighting in your decorations). Decorations should be welcoming and inclusive to all who will visit camp this holiday season. They will remain up through at least Sunday, December 14. Due to volume, troops wishing to retrieve their decorations can arrange a time after this date to come to camp to take them down, otherwise, we will be unable to return them. This is a day event and does not include an overnight. Food is NOT provided as part of this event. This program is designed for families, troops, or individuals with an adult chaperone. This is NOT a drop off event. Please follow Girl Scout ratios from Safety Activity Checkpoints. A patch is NOT provided as part of this event. A patch will be provided at the Camp Lights events.
