Join us at Camp Palos for an exciting Winter Outdoor Challenge designed specifically for your Girl Scout and family! Earn one of the four segments of the patch by completing exciting challenges that envelop the essence of winter. Here's a sneak peek at what awaits: Exploration Station: Explore the winter woods as you embark on a journey of observation and discovery. Astronomy Station: Embark on a cosmic adventure through space as you identify constellations with hands-on activities. Snack Station: Make your very own snow ice cream to enjoy with some warm hot cocoa. Games Station: Join in the fun and play some winter-themed games including snowperson relay races and snow fort teambuilding challenges. Craft Station: Get crafty with some winter art. Cut your own snowflake, learn to finger knit, and make some "cool" ice tie dye. STEM Station: Get your hands dirty as you make your own snow. Join us as we embark on this winter adventure together! Let's see how many items you can check off your list before the day is done. Earn the Winter segment of the Outdoor Challenge Patch and make lasting memories in the great outdoors this season! This is a day event and does not include an overnight. A snack is provided as part of this event. This program is designed for families, troops or individuals with an adult chaperone.
