American Mah Jongg is a tile game where you swap, match, and challenge your friends Swap, match, and strategize your way to victory in Mah Jongg 101! Students will learn the skills and fundamentals of American Mah Jongg using official National Mah Jongg League rules. This engaging tile game builds confidence, memory, and critical thinking while encouraging friendly competition and fun. Our focus is on making the rules clear so every student can: - Understand basic gameplay - Build a wall and deal tiles - Practice the Charleston pass - Begin play with draws and discards - Claim discards and complete a hand - Shout “Mah Jongg!” when they win No materials are required—just bring your focus and love of games. Come join us for a social, brain-boosting challenge that makes every game night more fun! Total Sessions - 6 IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT REFUNDS, & VIRTUAL LEARNING. We regret that we cannot refund registration fees once paid. Makeup lessons for group classes, will not be available. Should FCDS transition to remote virtual learning, the school will assess its After School Enrichment programs to determine if they can be offered virtually. If a program cannot transition to a virtual platform, refunds will be issued accordingly. If a session continues virtually, then no refunds nor partial refunds will be processed in the event of this transition if a participant wishes not to continue to finish the session virtually.
