The Invention Convention Curriculum takes learning to the next level with hands-on, real-world, project-based challenges that put students in the driver’s seat as problem-solvers, innovators, and creators. With Mrs. Kusnic as their guide, students will dream up original inventions and bring them to life! They’ll brainstorm big ideas, dive into patent and product research, learn smart strategies to collect and analyze data, build public speaking confidence, and master the art of telling their invention’s story. From market research to the final pitch, students will gain the 21st-century skills they need to make their ideas shine. In February, it’s time for the In-House Invention Convention Competition—where 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will move on to represent our school at Kaleideum, competing against the best young inventors from across the Winston-Salem area.
