About this event
Explore the art of monoprints, a “painterly” form of printmaking, with nature as inspiration. This class will introduce how to make unique prints by combining water-based inks and natural materials like leaves and petals. Through printmaking, students are encouraged to try creative experimentation to develop endless variations on unique designs. Students can produce a collection of original prints, suitable for framing, artbooks, or gift-giving. All experience levels are welcome, with materials provided. The printmaking studio utilizes non-toxic materials; all students are asked to review the 2024-25 printmaking studio guidelines (provided upon registration) ahead of their first class in the space.
