Build personalized artbooks and learn printmaking in the process! This partial semester class will introduce students to the intersection of two and three dimensional art, as well as how to meld written words, images, structures, and more. This class will focus on basic printmaking for carousel and Dos-à-Dos style books, bound with a pamphlet stitch. To make the most of this fast-paced class, students are encouraged to prepare five related shapes or scenes for the carousel book, and to work outside of class times, depending on compositional complexity. All experience levels are welcome. The printmaking studio utilizes non-toxic materials; all students are asked to review the 2025-26 printmaking studio guidelines (provided upon registration) ahead of their first class in the space.
